When I was younger, spent a lot of time in and out of the hospital due to a rare kidney disease (Nephrotic Syndrome). Was tired of watching t.v. so I took up drawing to pass the time. After my health issues were resolved with chemo in my early 20's, a relative gave me a Norman Rockwell book with a lot of his paintings and the stories behind them. Was amazed at the realism and the way he conveyed a story within a still painting. My goal is to recreate that feeling by painting a story within a still painting. more
